Crockpot Low Carb Green Chili Chicken

Low carb green chili chicken

For dinner tonight I made this green chili chicken in the crockpot it was pretty good.  I cooked mine in the crockpot on high for 4 hours and it came out very tender and flavorful.  I did eat mine with a generous sprinkling of tapatio and that made it even better.  This recipe only takes 5 ingredients, and you can have it all mixed and cooking in under 5 minutes, and let the slow cooker do all the work.

 Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

4 frozen chicken breast, no skin.
7 oz. can diced Green chiles
    4 oz. sharp cheddar cheese
    8 tsp Fajita Seasoning Mix
    1/2 cup Sour Cream

 Directions

Place frozen chicken breast in bottom of Crockpot. Mix sour cream, fajita seasoning, and green chilies together. Spread mixture over the chicken and cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours or until done, every slow cooker cooks different. Sprinkle 1 oz. of cheese over each piece of chicken.  Optional to garnish with cilantro and a sprinkle of tapatio.
